NCC Development management is excited to welcome Mylena Idlout-Mullin to the company’s administrative team.
Mylena was born and raised in Nunavut’s capital city, Iqaluit. Mylena had gained 4 years of administrative and managerial experience from a local Inuit-owned business, Carvings Nunavut, before joining NCC. From January to April 2020, Mylena was brought on as a causal employee, serving as a data entry clerk, to assist NCC Development’s office staff with the increased workloads being experienced at the time, before restrictions were put in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although Mylena’s initial period of employment with NCC Development was short, she proved to be a fast learner and a great asset to the administrative team, effectively assisting NCC Development to respond to increasing demands.
With anticipated increase in NCC Development construction activity in the near future, Mylena returned to NCC in November 2020, taking on a full-time position as Administrative Assistant. Mylena plays a critical role in ensuring that the various administrative matters for NCC’s construction operations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Outside of work, Mylena enjoys playing hockey, spending time with loved ones, and sewing.
NCC management is looking forward to having Mylena continue her professional development throughout her career at NCC.
